Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes information handled by the DropWon website and Chrome extension. Retailers, Google/Chrome, Lemon Squeezy, and other third parties have their own privacy practices.

2. Storefront information the extension accesses

When you choose to use DropWon on a store, the extension may access the active store URL/domain, product information, product and variant availability information, and cart responses needed to perform the shopping action you requested. The extension also processes the product, color, size, quantity, and related instructions you intentionally enter.

3. Local Chrome storage

DropWon uses Chrome local storage to retain your Drop List, recent run results, limited diagnostics, membership activation information, and your acceptance of the current Terms/Privacy version. Terms acceptance is stored as a version identifier and timestamp on your device.

4. Membership licensing

To activate paid membership access, you enter a Lemon Squeezy license key. The extension sends the license key and an installation label directly over HTTPS to Lemon Squeezy for activation, validation, and deactivation. DropWon developer servers do not receive your license key.

The extension stores locally the license key, Lemon Squeezy license-instance identifier, license status, activation usage/limit when available, expiration information when available, and validation timestamps. Lemon Squeezy may return order or customer metadata in a license response; DropWon does not intentionally retain the customer's name or email from that response.

5. Checkout and billing information

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record/payment provider shown at checkout. DropWon does not collect or store your payment-card number. Billing-management links direct you to Lemon Squeezy's customer portal.

6. Support communications

If you email support, we receive the email address, message, and any information you voluntarily provide. The extension's copied support report is designed to exclude product names and your license key.

7. What we do not do

• We do not sell user data.
• We do not use shopping activity for advertising.
• We do not collect retailer account passwords or payment-card numbers through the extension.
• We do not use user data for creditworthiness or lending.
• We do not intentionally transmit your Drop List or general shopping history to DropWon developer servers.

8. Direct retailer communications

When you run DropWon, the information necessary to search for requested products, retrieve product details, or perform cart actions may be exchanged directly with the retailer you are visiting as necessary to provide the feature you requested.

9. Website analytics and cookies

The static DropWon website in this launch release does not intentionally use advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the new collection is used.

10. Retention and deletion

Extension data stored locally remains subject to Chrome's storage behavior and may be removed by clearing extension data or uninstalling DropWon. Support emails are retained as reasonably necessary to provide support, address disputes, comply with law, and maintain business records.

11. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

DropWon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data accessed through Chrome extension permissions is used only to provide or improve the prominent user-facing functionality described here.

12. Children

DropWon is intended for adults who are able to enter into a subscription and make online purchasing decisions. It is not directed to children.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date will be revised when material changes are made.
